WHAT WE DO

Monthly Meetings

Meetings are held monthly September to May, and include guest speaker presentations open to the public. Topics are diverse, current, educational and thought-provoking.

All members have the opportunity to join advocacy committees and to participate in advocacy activities to bring about positive change.

Interest Groups

Groups get together, weekly or monthly, for socializing and learning – from book clubs and piano, to hiking, biking and dining.

Education Awards

We fundraise every year to provide annual awards to local students at the secondary and post-secondary education level

CFUW Education Award Winners
Celebrating Excellence: Honoring our 2026 Bursary Winners
Red And Blue Fireworks_edited.png

At CFUW Perth & District, we are bursting with pride as we celebrate 10 extraordinary young women who have been awarded bursaries this year. Among them are Leah, Serena, and Alyssa—just three of the incredible recipients whose dreams we are honoured to support. Thanks to the generosity and dedication of our community, and the funds raised through our Home & Garden Tour and other initiatives, we are able to empower these young women to pursue higher education. Their passion, determination, and commitment to making a difference inspire us all.But our impact doesn’t stop there. These funds also fuel our local advocacy and education programs, bringing knowledge, resources, and opportunities to libraries, community agencies, and schools across the Perth and district. We are building a brighter future—one where education, equality, and empowerment are at the heart of everything we do.

A Future Full of Promise

Let’s take a moment to celebrate Leah, Serena, Alyssa, and all our bursary winners.

They are not just students—they are leaders, innovators, and change-makers who will shape the world around them.

We can’t wait to see the incredible things they will achieve!Join us in honouring their hard work, their dreams, and the future they are building. Together, we are making a difference—one bursary, one program, and one community at a time!
