The Evening Book Club meets the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm. in different members’ homes. 10 books are chosen through nomination and voting. These are typically works of fiction but a variety of genres may be explored. The hosting member facilitates the discussion of the book and may choose to offer light refreshments. FULL.

This group meets monthly the third Thursday at 1:30 pm. The club meets in various homes of members according to a schedule prepared for the first meeting. The hostess serves light refreshments. Books for 2023 - 2024 year were chosen at the last meeting of the 2022- 2023 year. FULL.

This Book Club is held the first Monday of each month at 1:30 pm. These meetings are held in member’s homes according to the schedule. Maximum capacity is 10 with 2 spares. 1 spot available for a new member.

This group meets the third Tuesday of the month. We take turns meeting at a member’s house, at a coffee shop or a restaurant and we take turns selecting mystery books. 2 spots open.

This group meets the 4th Monday of each month at 1:00 pm  in each other’s homes.  The hostess provides light refreshments. Monthly book selections are chosen at the beginning of each year in September.  We tend to favour Canadian authors and current publications.  Our discussions are lively and thought provoking. 1 spot available..

Book Club #8 is Murder

Come join us on the 3rd Monday of each month at 10:00 a.m. We'll meet in each other's homes to help solve the mystery! Hostess will provide light refreshments, nothing poisonous! Join us if you dare... 2 spots available.

This Book Club meets approximately every six weeks, 1-3 p.m., normally on a Monday. We rotate in members’ homes.  The hostess normally selects the book and leads the discussion (or tries to keep us on track and avoid red herrings).  Refreshments as decided by hostess. 6 spots open.

We meet on the 4th Monday of the month at 2 p.m, taking turns meeting at member’s homes. We meet during July and August, but not formally during December, January, and February. The hostess picks that month’s book and provides refreshments. 2 spots open.

We usually meet on the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm. (We are considering changing to an earlier evening start time during the winter months; we will decide that, and set up next year’s reading list and meeting schedule at the next meeting on September 5th)
We determine our reading list together at a meeting in which the members discuss books they they are interested in, and as a group we decide which ones we will read, and who will lead each book discussion. (We will do this next at our Sept 5 meeting)
We alternate meeting at each other’s homes. The host provides light refreshments for the meeting but, to make it easier, the host is not the one responsible for lead the book talk. 5 spots available.
