Raising Funds for Education and Community Enrichment
CFUW Perth & District is part of a non-profit national organization dedicated to supporting education, literacy and the arts in our community. To accomplish this, the club holds yearly fundraising events in the community. In 2024, we also established a charitable CFUW Perth & District Education Awards Fund under the auspices of Perth & District Community Foundation.
All donations received through PDCF are earmarked solely to our Education Awards Fund and amounts $20 or more receive a tax receipt.

As a community organization, CFUW Perth is committed to working with other Perth & area community groups. Please contact us with ideas for collaboration.
Home & Garden Tour

It is a one-day event held in July that showcases some of our community’s most beautiful homes and gardens. In 2024 we had 8+ gardens, including two also featuring homes. The day also includes garden lunch, live music, and art exhibits to enrich the day. The Home and Garden Tour is the club’s primary fundraiser.
Rideau Lakes Cycle Tour Bake
For 10 years CFUW Perth & District has been providing a cornucopia of baked goodies to the 1000+ bicyclers from the Ottawa Bike Club that participate in the annual 2-day ride from Ottawa to Kingston and back!
From our tent at Last Duel Park, riders tell us they really appreciate the cookies, muffins, brownies, date squares, lemon bars and more, coffee and cold drinks on offer.

Due to June climate conditions, the ride is now taking place July 29/30, 2023 and should be a great fundraising weekend as we'll also be offering sandwiches. Monies raised support our Education Awards and community endeavours.
