Resolutions Night, 5:00 p.m
All members are encouraged to attend this very special night as we gather together to review the Resolutions submitted for 2025 from clubs across the country — including one CFUW Perth co-wrote with CFUW Milton: "Addressing Period Poverty & Menstrual Inequity in Canada." Pizza is on offer!
A CFUW Resolution is a formal motion proposing positive change about a current issue of provincial, national and/or international importance that CFUW wishes to pursue. If passed by the CFUW Clubs, the proposed resolution becomes CFUW policy and provides direction for advocacy, serves to educate the membership, and increases CFUW’s visibility as a leading Canadian women’s organization.

Strong Foundations: Understanding Pelvic Floor Health
Did you know that, as they age, 1 in 3 women experience pelvic floor symptoms that impact their daily activities and quality of life?
Join us by Zoom at 6:30 on February 18th for Andrea Picket’s presentation on this important women’s (and men’s!) health topic. Andrea, a Perth physiotherapist who runs a practice focused on pelvic floor health, will give us an overview of the pelvic floor, what it does and why it is so important to our quality of life. Her presentation will cover symptoms to watch out for and common conditions and disorders of the pelvic floor. She will also let us know about prevention and treatment strategies used to improve pelvic floor health.
Don’t be one of the 90% of people who experience symptoms but are too embarrassed to seek treatment! Learn more about the condition as the first step towards a better lifestyle.
Andrea Picket, BScHKIN, BScPT, is a public health educator as well as a practicing physiotherapist who offers individualized treatments for pelvic health dysfunctions.
Members of the public are warmly invited to attend. Please send an e-mail to cfuwperthanddistrict@gmail.com to request the registration link.
