On Monday, June 19, we were pleased to distribute eight education awards, totalling $8250, to a group of impressive young women. This brings our total to $240,275 distributed to 195 award winners since 1999. This year’s recipients include one woman going on to do her Master’s in Clinical Sciences in Speech Language Pathology, one going into the fourth year of her biomechanics program, one going into the second year of a Wildlife Rehabilitation Veterinary Technician program, one going into a Fitness and Health program, and four going into their first year of university studies. We are pleased to be able to support these women in their post-secondary studies, and we know they will continue to inspire others in their future endeavours.
